How to create an enhanced Podcast -T4 Show

My good friend Mike Manna over at T4 Show did a great screen cast on how to create an enhanced podcast in Garage Band.  Mike does a great job really breaking it down and making it easy to understand! So tell me why in the world aren’t you podcasting??

Proud of both my boys!

Some of you might not have known but my oldest son Jacob did his own unboxing review of a great pitching machine my wife and I bought him. Well today he received a box from the CEO of the company with a beautiful letter and 46 more balls for his machine (holds 100!!). So I thought I would surprise him and make this video of him during his Spring clinic he attended two weeks ago. He is becoming a YouTube nut!!! Also my youngest Alex makes a cameo at the end of the video!!

On the Acela to Washington, DC

I am on the Washington DC Acela train which I should be in DC by 920am. I am using the LG Vu for my 2 hour ride and once again the TV rocks!! Unfortunately if you read my first 24 hours you would know where this phone falls significantly short.. Either way I gotta run and watch the Today show…

LG VU

I just picked up the LG VU today which I will write about on Mobility Today So far hands down the best TV service compared to Sprint and Verizon. I also found out the $99 package deal is now unlimited and for $30 more for Media Max and 15 for MobileTV.. I am a bit bummed no real email or calendaring capabilities so far.. Also it wont show my 4GB MicroSD card for some reason. The phone is sleek for sure..

Review: The Personal Pitcher

I really haven’t posted much on my kids but today my son Jacob did his first video review of the Personal Pitcher a great pitching machine that is perfect for ages 6-80 years of age (no kidding!). The machine has multiple settings for speed ranging from 35mph-95mph!!! The balls are the same exact size of a golf ball which forces the player to always focus on the ball. It is a must have for anyone who loves playing baseball..

Using Windows Mobile 6.1

I am currently using Windows Mobile 6.1 for the Blackjack II and enjoying it. The photo above was a larger photo I took of train tracks while I was sitting on the train. No.. Thats not a great zoom but it is a new feature for 6.1 which is resize and crop!!! Pretty cool!! I also like that they finally added the auto population in the TO field when I send emails. Previously this really was annoying that I had to select the person I was sending to. Also the today screen is functional FINALLY!! So to tell you the truth I don’t understand why they still havent officially released it yet? The ROM I am using is pretty much final shipping so it makes no sense. If you have a Blackjack II you definitely will enjoy the update…

VerizonTV on the train

Verizon was nice enough to send me a new LG VZW TV phone that quite honestly I am really enjoying. Since this doesn’t buffer video the quality is just fantastic (sorry you cant tell by the picture) and the coverage model is pretty impressive. Another feature I am enjoying is the ESPN web service which Verizon bought a few year ago. So far I get 12 channels of live TV varying from CBS, NBC,ABC, Comedy Central and many more. As I write this article I am actually on the train watching the Today show. It will be very interesting to see if we will ever have this service on a Windows Mobile phone? Personally I don’t see why not but we probably won’t see it for a while in the USA..

For me this will be a place where I share my experiences with all of you on what is involved behind the scenes of running my website Mobility Today.
